I was just wondering, if you had protection bond on and somehow got your health to 1 or even 10 would you take any damage at all? Would DP be an even better thing?

For example, if you took someone to UW with you that could help you die somehow, than unyielding aura and Vengeance you to 60% DP, would you even need to bring healing breeze? O.o

Oops, can't DP with those skills. But it's enteresting tothink what it could do

no i have done this repeatedly, you can survive at 6< hp, anything less is hopeless

i have had 1 hp at a time in a mission, and my team kept rebirthing me and i die at the spot

The unfortunate thing is that the build works only in UW and only if you are fortunate enough to avoid anything that strips your enchantments. Lost enchantments = GG.

Really it works in any place that has alot of meele enemies. I am basically refering to UW here, in that you would slam into a mob and then have one person maybe use Rebirth on you.

If you, instead of having 5 runes, have only 1 prot rune, then use Vital Blessing you still become a very effect tank. I use this strategy alot in missions where we already have one monk and don't feel like wasting a space on a meet shield

Here is the build as I see it (mo/w)

5 superior runes takes you to 105 life, find a focus item with -50 life, and one with +1 protection prayrs (20%). Use prot bond in the beginning until you get it to only take away 1 energy (17 prot). Then cast balthazar's spirit to recover that energy. I won't give away the entire build-Experiment around and see what suits you best. There are many options to the build. One tip though-Elite=Sheild of Judgement.

I didn't make this forum to ask how the build works exactly.. Just discussing how low you could possibly go with the lack of life and also if DP could substitute, besides the mana cost, for the 4 extra runes. (While still having the sup prot rune)

I believe damage would round up to prevent invicibility. And 1 word (well, abbrev.) - DoT :P

I think the problem with getting the DP is that once you aggro the aatxes (sp?), they will kill all your party members if i remember. They don't lose aggro period. Although in the case I'm wrong, a very good alternative to paying the 200k for the runes.

You can use DP instead of 5 sup runes. You just need a second monk to rez you. I wouldn't suggest you go to <10 hp or the bleed can kill you. Also after a few fights you will need to die again since you lose dp after fights.
